What is CALNOC?

The Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes (CALNOC) is the nation’s first registry dedicated to nursing sensitive measures at the unit level. It is a self-sustaining non-profit public benefit corporation with over 15 years experience in advancing the safety and quality of patient care. CALNOC is the measure developer for the NQF Pressure Ulcer and Restraint Use prevalence measure for acute care.

What are nursing sensitive measures?

These are indicators, which are sensitive to the input of Nursing Care and reflect structure, process and outcomes.
